VACANCY CIRCULAR
Sub: Recruitment to the post of Assistant Editor in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
It has been decided to fill up the post of Assistant Editor, a Group 'B' post (Gazetted, Non-Ministerial) of the General Central Service in the pay band-2 (Rs. 930034800) with Grade pay of Rs.4200/- (Pre-revised Rs.6500-200-10500) on deputation basis in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. Details of the post are given in enclosed Annexure.
2. Initially, the appointment (on deputation basis) shall be made for one year, which can ordinarily be extended up to three years. However Ministry reserves the right to terminate the deputation at any time without assigning reason(s) thereof. The pay and allowances of the officer shall be regulated in accordance with the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Department of Personnel & Training's OM Nos.2/29/91-Estt.(Pay.II) dated 5/1/94 and OM No.2/22(A)/2008 Estt. (PayII) dated 03rd Sept.2008..
3. It is requested that the applications of eligible and interested candidates whose services can be spared in case of selection, may be forwarded in the prescribed proforma to the undersigned within 45 days from the date of publication of this vacancy circular in the Employment News. The applications may be forwarded only through proper channel alongwith complete and up to date CR dossier, Vigilance Clearance and Integrity Certificate. It may be noted that candidate once selected will not be allowed to withdraw his candidature under any circumstances.
4. Applications received after the last date and/or found to be incomplete in any manner will not be considered under any circumstances. Similarly, advance copies of the applications shall not be accepted.
