Sir
I am directed to refer to subject mentioned above and request you to submit quotation for repair of sofa, chairs etc., of the Ministry. The sealed cover superscribed 'Quotation for Repair of Sofas, chairs etc.' be addressed to the undersigned and dropped in the Tender Box kept in this Ministry's Facilitation Centre, Ground Floor, Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi by 3.00 PM, on 31.05.2011. The quotations shall be opened at 4.00 PM on the same day in the said facilitation centre in the presence of the bidders or their authorised representatives, who are at liberty to be present.
2. Rates of sofas, chairs etc. may be submitted as per Annexure-I
3. The payment of the contract charges will be made after completion of work subject to rendering of satisfactory service.
4. You are required to submit an earnest money of Rs.3000/- in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of DDO, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, New Delhi. The earnest money will be refunded to the unsuccessful bidders on the finalization of the contract. The successful bidder will be required to submit performance security of the prescribed amount.
5. The Ministry shall have no liability, financial or otherwise, for any harm/damage/injury incurred to the manpower deployed by the contractor in the course of performing of work of this Ministry. Neither the contractor nor his workers shall have any claim on this Ministry for compensation or financial assistance on this account.
6. It is made clear that if the services rendered by you are not found satisfactory at any time during the period of contract, the contract is liable to be cancelled without any notice. Also if the contractor attends to the complaints late (that is after 48 hours, excluding holidays, of the registration of the complaint) a penalty of Rs.100/- per day will be imposed.
7. Any dispute regarding the contract shall be resolved through an arbitrator to be appointed by the competent authority in the Ministry.
8. The contract shall be subject to the Indian Laws and the jurisdiction of the courts located in Delhi.
