Subject: Supply of furniture and fixtures - regarding.
Sir,
I am directed to refer to subject mentioned above and request you to forward the rates/quotation for supply of following furnitures for the Ministry. The quotation may please be sent in sealed envelopes marked "Quotation for supply of office Furniture" and be dropped in the tender box kept in the Facilitation Centre of the Ministry on the Ground Floor near Gate No.3 Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi by 3.00 p.m. on or before 24.03.2011. The bids will be opened the same day at 4.00 P.M. in Room No. 623 A. The tenderer or their representatives are at liberty to be present at the time of opening of the bids. Quotations received after due date and time will not be accepted:

2. The tenderer shall submit a Demand draft of Rs.5,000/- in favour of DDO, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, New Delhi as earnest money alongwith the tender application. The DD of unsuccessful bidder will be returned. The successful bidder will have to deposit an FDR for an amount equal to 5% of the total amount of the contract as Performance Security in favour of DDO, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment. After receiving the FDR, the EMD of Rs. 5,000/- will be returned to the contractor.
3. The payment will be made after the goods have been supplied in a good condition to this Ministry. The above goods will carry a minimum warranty of one year from the date of supply.
4. The Ministry shall have no liability, financial or otherwise, for any harm/damage/injury incurred to the manpower deployed in the course of performing of work.
5. The Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment reserves the rights to reject any or all of the tenders without assigning any reason there of, and would not be responsible for any postal delay.
6. Any dispute arising in the matter shall be resolved through an arbitrator to be nominated by Secretary or Additional Secretary in the Ministry.
7. The contract shall be subject to the Indian Laws and jurisdiction of the courts, located in Delhi.
