Quotations are invited from competent and experienced firms for wiring for installation of ten ACs in office of this Ministry situated on 9th Floor of Jeevan Prakash Building, K. G. Marg, Cannaught Place. In case you are interested, you may drop your sealed quotations in the tender box kept at the Facilitation Center of this Ministry located on Ground Floor, near Gate No. 3, Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi latest by 3.6.2011 before 3.00 PM . The cover of quotations should be prominently super-scribed with the words "QUOTATION FOR WIRING IN JEEVAN PRAKASH BUILDING". The quotations will be opened at 4.00 PM, the same day in the cabin of US (Admn), Room No. 240, 'A' Wing, Shastri Bhavan, New Delhi. You or your representative is at liberty to be present at the time of opening of the quotations. Over writing must be avoided otherwise the quotation is likely to be rejected. Before submitting the tender, the bidders may please visit the said location. The rates may be quoted in the following format:-

Note: The vendors should inspect the existing wiring and indicate clearly in their quotation whether the wiring for ACs will require new conduit pipes or the existing conduit pipes will serve the purpose. It shall be the responsibility of the contractor to ensure that the work to be done by him does not result in the heating of wires used by them, short circuit, fire etc.
2. The quotation should be accompanied by the proof of experience in the same field (electric works) and an EMD in the form of Demand Draft for Rs. 3000/- drawn in favour of DDO, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment. The EMD of the unsuccessful bidders will be returned on finalization of the contract. The EMD of the successful bidder shall be returned after he submits the requisite performance security.
