MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF SCREENING COMMITTEE HELD ON 16-19th APRIL 2007 AND 2nd - 3rd MAY 2007 FOR CONSIDERING NEW PROPOSALS RECEIVED FROM VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS UNDER DEENDAYAL DISABLED REHABILITATION SCHEME (DDRS)

The Committee was assisted by Ms. Vandita Kaul, Director, Shri Deepak Srivastava, Deputy Secretary, Shri Vinod Kumar Sharma, Under Secretary and the staff of DD-II Section.
2. The Committee considered 420 proposals. Of this, 236 cases were recommended, 02 are to be resubmitted, and rest were not recommended. The list of cases recommended is given at Annexure-I, the cases, which are to be re-submitted, are given at Annexure-II and the cases which are not recommended are given at Annexure-III. Remarks of the Committee are indicated against each proposal. The Committee gave due consideration to the unserved areas and also to the number of qualified staff engaged by the organization in relation to the number of beneficiaries.
