Subject: Limited tender for supply of Consumable items for official use in the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment for a period of one year from the date of awarding the contract.
Sir,
Limited Sealed tenders containing item-wise rates are invited from the reputed suppliers/distributors for the supply of Consumable items to be used in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment as specified in Annexure.
2. The bids should be placed in sealed covers superscribed "Bid for supply of Consumable items" and addressed to the Under Secretary (Admn) and should be dropped in the Tender Box kept at the Facilitation Centre of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Shastri Bhawan (Ground Floor), Dr. Rajendra Prasad Marg, New Delhi by 3.00 p.m. on 17.06.2011. The bids will be opened on the same day at 3.30 p.m. in Room No. 240, 'A' Wing, Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi. The bids which are incomplete or conditional or received after the stipulated date and time will not be considered. The Tender document is also available on the Website of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment i.e. http://socialjustice.nic.in.
3. Tender of only those firms will be entertained that deposit an earnest money of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) in the form of DD drawn in favour of "DDO, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi.
4. The rates would be valid for a period of one year from the date of award of the contract and they should be inclusive of delivery charges to the Ministry in Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi. The suppliers will be responsible for delivery of goods in good condition at their own cost. The goods must conform to the Specification and Make given in Annexure to this letter. The rates mentioned in the quotation if accepted will not be allowed to be enhanced during the period of the contract. The rates of the tax, if chargeable, should be clearly mentioned.
5. In case the firm fails to supply the items within specified delivery period, the material will be procured from open market and the difference of cost, if any, will be recovered from security money or from bills of the firm and necessary action for blacklisting the firms will be taken.
6. The tendering firms must submit the VAT/Sales Tax Registration certificate, PAN card and experience in this field. In the absence of these documents, the tender will not be entertained.
